Who is eligible to use the church for a wedding, funeral/memorial service, or any other event?
- Randolph residents (legal, year-round or summer) and their family members.
- Others who have special permission from the Moderator of the Randolph Church or his/her designee.
Who is authorized to preside over religious ceremonies?
- Ordained clergy of an established religious denomination.
- Persons other than clergy who present credentials acceptable to the Moderator.
What procedure should be followed?
- First communicate with the Clerk of the Randolph Church to ascertain whether the time and date of the proposed service or event is available on the calendar. The Clerk will then refer the inquirer to the Moderator of the Church or his/her designee for approval and to the Chair of the Music Committee.
What music is appropriate?
- Music played or sung at the church shall be of an appropriate nature, in keeping with the musical traditions of the Randolph Church. Musicians using the organ must be approved by the Chair of the Music Committee, or if not available, the Moderator.
