2024 BENEVOLENCE RECITAL, FEATURING DR. CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON, AUG. 4TH AT 4PM
The 2024 Benevolence Concert highlights the BiCentennial weekend at the Randolph Church on Sunday afternoon, August 4th, at 4 pm. Dr. Christopher Anderson, a former featured guest organist at the Randolph church, will deliver a Lecture-Recital featuring the musical climate at the beginning of the founding of Randolph and, subsequently, the Randolph Church. As a performer and scholar, an entertaining lecturer, he has focused particularly on historical approaches to 19th and early 20th c. repertoires with a particular interest in musical modernism, German history and philosophy. Author and professor from Southern Methodist University, Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, TX, and visiting professor at the Eastman School of Music, Dr. Anderson returns to NH for this event following lectures delivered at Cambridge, at a Bach conference. We are excited to welcome him back!
